In a masterclass situation, the artist will address the student as well as the audience, with comments that involve and inform everyone present, engaging the audience as well as the individual playing. Discussion might feature interpretation, technical issues, which affect every player of that instrument, and it presents a rare chance to “try out” body language, and stage presence.

Masterclass with Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet

This MGS event is part masterclass and part Tango party! Pedro Giraudo and the Tango Quartet will work with the UNCG Latin American Folk Ensemble from 5-6pm and then they will perform with the students for everyone to enjoy from 6-7pm!  Both students and audience members will have the opportunity to engage with Q&A.

This is an open event presented at no charge.  The masterclass will take place in Room 110 downstairs at the UNCG Music Building.  There will be snacks and beverages available as well.
