The MGS Chamber Ensemble Residency is designed to provide performance opportunities and mentorship for an up-and-coming ensemble interested in chamber music as it was, is, and can be.  This year's Resident Ensemble, Pathfinders Trio, consists of Hannah Markun (trumpet), Abby Novak (clarinet), and Lyndsey Dean (multiple woodwinds).

The Chamber Ensemble Residency has three main aspects, a mentorship program, a teaching program, and a series of community performances.  This year's mentor artists, Tom Galland and Bixby Kennedy, are members of Frisson Ensemble.  Pathfinders is also working with the students at Swann Middle School under the direction of band director Rodney Milton.  They are also performing May 11 at Bicentennial Garden as well as private performances at Pennybyrn Senior Living community and at Revolution Mill as a partnership with the Junior League.
